Type I Diabetes


Type I diabetes is an auto-immune disease that often develops in children and young adults but can appear at any age.

Type II Diabetes


Type II diabetes is the most common form. It is not an auto-immune disease and is not caused by a cessation of insulin production.

Type II diabetes symptoms may include:

  • Frequent Urination

  • Unusual Thirst

  • Weight Loss

  • Blurred Vision

  • Frequent Infections

  • Slow healing of wounds or sores

Type II diabetes is associated with the following:

  • Older age

  • Overweight and Obesity
